About

It all started when...

Over twenty years of friendship has carried us from Texas to DC, New York, San Francisco and back. We landed in Austin (again) and are joining efforts to make our dreams, and most importantly yours, come true!

We have 15+ years of combined experience planning exquisite affairs for executives, diplomats, military commanders, start up crews and even tiny dictators (a.k.a. our beloved children) including:

  • Sophisticated ladies luncheon for a former First Lady, 20 diplomats + ambassadors (Washington, DC)
  • $2.35m corporate recruiting event for 700 people (Miami)
  • Intimate dinner for 20 heads of state + foreign dignitaries (Washington, DC)
  • Blind wine tastings for corporate management retreats + office team building events  (San Francisco)
  • Numerous summer recruiting events for 15-50 people (New York, San Francisco, Palo Alto)
  • High profile client appreciation + business development event (Austin + Houston)

From flying trapeze classes to a customized Amazing Race expedition, our combined experience + love for events make us your must-have planning partners. Consider us your new best friends.

Jessica Riels is Dash Event's co-founder + detail extraordinaire.

Jessica’s most valuable asset as an expert event planner is her 5+ years experience as a mother of two - hands down the most challenging job she has ever taken on.

Jessica is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. After undergraduate studies in English and Government, Jessica’s love of writing and politics drew her to our nation’s capitol where she pursued work on Capitol Hill. With the grace and skill of an air traffic controller, she arranged meetings and press events for Members of Congress. Her passion for helping others led her to the non-profit sector, in the personal office of Ambassador Nancy G. Brinker. Jessica managed the daily schedule of a high-profile government official and international non-profit founder. She continued this work in Italy, while accompanying her husband on military orders in Naples. There she was trained in southern Italian style cooking, and volunteered countless hours as a military liaison for the first-ever Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Naples, Italy.

Jessica currently volunteers as a children's ministry leader co-chairing Vacation Bible School and teaching preschoolers Godly Play on Sunday mornings. Jessica is organized, detail-oriented, creative and has 15+ years of experience in a myriad of event planning arenas and audiences.
